Come aboard Georgia’s only floating classroom! The custom-built boat, named Chota Princess II, includes a glass bottom viewing well. Lake Lanier Aquatic Learning Center offers learners an up close study of water quality and lake ecology through hands-on activities including the measurement of DO, pH, and temperature plus analysis of the challenges of the Chattahoochee River’s watershed.
